2Sa 5:5 In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.
I think I've heard these times used prophetically of future events with Christ, but I cant place it. Anyone?

I have heard this also, but cannot place the source. Here are my thoughts, though (and they are only suggestions).
The seven and a half years might correspond with the period of judgement, Christ not being in Jerusalem at that time. Then, after judgement, a 33 year period of war with the nations for the establishment of the kingdom, during which time the temple is being built in Jerusalem. Further, if we think of David's reign (one of war and bloodshed) preceding and preparing for Solomon's reign (one of peace and prosperity), then perhaps these 33 years of war are preparing for the greater son of David to take the throne in Jerusalem.
Just my thoughts based on your question. I know that there are many different interpretations and ideas about the timing of events that follow Christ's return to the earth.
