We can't help but feel sorry for Leah knowing that Jacob loved Rachael far more than her. She no doubt saw that her father's deception cast some guilt upon her. Jacob's reaction was critical using the remarks "What have you done unto me!" --
As a side note these same words were used in reverse by Laban concerning when Jacob took his family and possessions and fled, unbeknownst to Laban, to Canaan. When Laban had caught up to Jacob, in his anger he said,"What has thou done, that thou hast stolen away ...."
As they began their family life it became apparent that Leah was not part of it. Vs 31 says, "When the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb."vs. 32 "the Lord looked upon my affliction now therefore my husband will love me. Vs 33,"the Lord hath heard that I was hated." vs 34, "Now this time will my husband be joined unto me.
