Verse 10: "When the princes of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king's house unto the house of Yahweh, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of the Yahweh's house."
Does anyone know what the "new gate" of Yahweh's house was?

The new gate—originally built by Jotham (“the higher gate,” 2 Ki 15:35) and now recently restored.

The considerable work carried out on the Temple through Josiah’s energetic initiative must have restored the sanctuary to much of its original glory. Understandably, the house would then become a reason for national pride. There is a mention of “the entry of the new gate” of the Temple in Jeremiah 26:10, which doubtless bears incidental testimony to the work of reconstruction completed at Josiah’s behest.
