To have Jeremiah buy land in Judah while Nebuchadnezzar was getting ready to take Jerusalem was interesting and unexpected. His lesson was being,'it won't be long (70 years) before they would be returned from captivity. Jeremiah's hope was that by connecting with the young people there will be a future hope for a glorious return.
