In this chapter Jeremiah warns the children of Israel against the worship of Egypt's gods. The women were actively worshipping and when Jeremiah's warning came they openly rebuked the prophet. What has happened to these people that the worshipping of pagan god was better than The Lord God of Israel in Mose's time? Was it the music, was it the fellowship, was it grandeur, had they been taught as children the stories of the Exodus? Will this happen to us?
