In this chapter Jehoiachin is taken to Babylon after he had reigned only 3 months. Jehoiachin is the son of Jehoiakim which is the son of Josiah. Jehoiahas is also the son of Josiah. Sons, brother and grandson of a righteous King reign wickedness on the people of Israel.
After 37 years of captivity Jehoiachin is taken out of prison and given a seat at the Royal table, and taken care of for the rest of his life.
