Jesus ate with the sinners and publicans and people of low estate. The Pharisees did not want to be associated with the lower class of people. Because of their financial status, they lived and saw things differently. It could be easy for us to also look down on individuals that are observably different from us, so we need to be careful that financial differences does not hinder us from preaching the Truth to them.
