1 Chronicles 29:27 "And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem."
King David was a man of war, and reigned 40 years. This makes me wonder if there is a correlation the "Last Terrible 40 Years", where Christ and the Saints will be at war. Christ will be at Mt Sinai for the first 7-10 Years(cp to Hebron) for resurrection, judgment, and marriage of the lamb. Then the march of the Rainbowed Angel occurs with the destruction of the Goggion Host. Solomon then built the Temple, which correlates well with Christ's next step in building the Temple described in Ezekiel.
