Josiah was one of the best of four Kings of Judah. He didn't learn the ways of God through Amon his father, but possibly through his mother or near kinsman. The three decades of his reign were peaceful prosperous and filled with reform. Therefore they would have been the happiest years for the kingdom of Judah. King Josiah devoted himself to pleasing God and reinstituted the Mosaic Law, or Law of God.
