God works in mysterious ways and we wonder why Josiah was taken. Did he inquire of God beforehand? Josiah was such a God fearing King, I wonder if God took him off the scene to protect him from some future tragedy or temptation that he might have failed at. We calculate that he is only 39 years old: he reigned 31 years and was 8 when he began to reign.
