Jonah is like a lot of people today. They have their preconceived ideas that is formed around how they feel and believe even though it is contrary to God's thoughts. Jonah knew what the Assyrians were like and they would be a real threat to his people. Today we know by his actions that Obama is trying to change the very thinking and beliefs of this country and we don't like it. We are observers watching how God works and are not to toke part in worldly affairs.
