Vs. 15. Jesus was telling the Jewish leaders that they went all over the world looking for proselytes. Their intentions were to gain their money and increase the Jewish population. They half-heartedly brought them out of paganism, but did not replace their religion with the true faith. They had some knowledge, making them twice as bad as they were. Therefore the term "twofold more the child of hell than themselves."
