Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
The fig tree represents Israel. Within the last 70+ years we've seen the "rebirth" of the Nation of Israel. We know verse 34 was particularly used to mean that those at the time of Christ (that generation) would see the destruction that happened at AD 70, but could it also mean that the current generation that is in their 60-70's, who have witnessed the sprouting of a new nation in Israel, would also see the return of Christ?
The signs of spring are here! The leaves have erupting! Christ is on his way!
