1. If the sentence on Eve, that she would have to bring forth children with sorrow (pain), was truly a sentence, then it meant it didn't happen before the creation. How were mammals then born prior (if evolution is correct). (I don think epidurals and C-Sections were widely available during that time frame . Also if there were other living "men/women" besides Adam/Eve, how would this be a curse, if all the other women had already been having children 2. Would they claim Exodus was also symbolic: "Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." 3. If symbolic, and not an actual Adam, then how would one account for the genealogies that begin with Adam. 4. If symbolic, why the specific time frame repeated of "and the evening and the morning were the first day"
