Matthew 14:6 -- "But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod."
Just thought it interesting that many of the instances in the scriptures of a birth day or the day of one's birth have a negative aspect associated with them.
Ecclesiastes 7:1 -- "A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth."
Of course the notable exception to these is the birth of Christ, which was heralded by the angels of heaven in the presence of the shepherds.
