The magicians were able to turn water to blood and bring frogs upon the land, but they could not bring lice up. Until the flies the Hebrews were exposed to the plagues as well as the Egyptians. The distinct division between the land of Goshen and the Egyptians was not made until the fourth plague of flies.
Does anyone know why they were also plagued?
