I always thought it was the first born males that died, i dont see that in tonights readings, would it be first born male or female? Where did I get this idea from? Did I mix the story of Herod killing all of the first born males... I am not sure. Did anyone else make this assumption?
This passover would have been quite an experience and very scary. It would have shown how God was protecting the children of Israel. It would seem that anyone that lived through this event would not so easily forget it, and yet they started fretting immediately after when they reached the red sea.
