David had the right idea and was able to keep the deliverance of Israel fresh on his mind. He references it often and tonight in vs. 6. Vs. 7 he acknowledges that God rules in the kingdoms of men.

His delight was in the law and in God's ways. I pray that we can have David's zeal for the Word, his courage in face of danger, and his heart that was compared to God's own.

Very Impressive for sure. What should be noted is that these are the attributes he continually prayed for.
