Israel 40 years in the wilderness
Elijah/Christ fasted 40 days
40 is the number for probation and Judgment

Ch.7:If it was 7 pairs(14) of clean animals was it 2 pair(4 of unclean? Some say there were 3pair and one extra for sacrifice. If you look on it as 7 pairs why do we not look at the two unclean as two pairs?

Why does ch 6 say every living thing 2 of every sort, of fowl and cattle , but ch 7 says 7 of fowls and clean beast

Why does ch 6 say every living thing 2 of every sort, of fowl and cattle , but ch 7 says 7 of fowls and clean beast Not forsure, but suspect the first one deals with the unclean fowels (eagles, vulchers, etc) and the second instance with the clean ones which they were to bring 7 pair (dove, quail, etc) |
