When we become baptized, we move from the camp into the tabernacle. We are currently in the "Holy Place", and are to be "separated" from the world (hence he the word 'Holy' place). We should have a wall built around us, protecting us, separating us from the worldly desires. We should not look back, as Lot's wife, but constantly moving forward to the Most Holy Place. If our walls aren't to pattern, if they have holes within it, then we will be distracted by the outside. If we don't use the word to light our way, then we will drift back to the mesmerizing and destructive glow that comes from the outside of our tent.
