The sweet incense represents prayer. It is coming from the altar of incense which is located in Holy Place (where the called out ones are located) and the altar was made of Gold (cp to the Brazen one in the outer court). Gold of course is tried faith. So this incense is coming from saints, called out ones.
The question is, does God only hear prayers from this group?
