Salt is a very important item in the lives of mankind. Blood is made up of a high percentage of salt and the body needs a certain amount. We also know that the Roman army was paid to some extent with salt. We hear the words,"ye are the salt of the earth." We know that we can not lose our saltiness, or we are unfaithful and no good. We see in Lev. 2:13, salt was a part of God's sacrifices and it was furnished at the alter.
