Lev 5:1 And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
Read an interesting point on this from a central brother, who tied this verse into why Christ replied to Caiaphus...
"Faced with continuing silence (by Christ) Caiaphas cried out: “I adjure thee by the living God that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God...
"To put the defendant on oath and to interrogate with a view to eliciting self-condemnatory admissions were both utterly illegal processes. Nevertheless Jesus, following the spirit of a higher law, accepted the oath; for Moses said: “If anyone sin in that he heareth the voice of adjuration, he being a witness, whether he hath seen or known, if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity” (Lev. 5:1, R.V.). So Jesus felt bound to give answer even though, illegally, he was being made to witness against himself.
