Psa 107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; Psa 107:3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
Redemption is such a misunderstood word.
Are all the following words synonyms, or are there differences between them?
1. Redeem 2. Saved - Psa 106:10 "And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy." 3. Delivered - Psa 69:18 " Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies." 4. Gathered and brought back - Exo 6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: 5. Ransomed - Hos 13:14 " I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death" 6. Bought/Purchased - Psa 74:2 Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed;
Did I miss any other words?
