Vs. 75. Paul said in Heb. 12:8. We are bastards if we are not chastened. We know that God used this method for correction for those he loves. Israel was chastened by the nations of the world to turn His people back to Him. Some people turn to God when He afflicts them. Others do not, not having the fear of God in them.
