We can look at this chapter 26 and say we have seen Moses' word come true. The Jews of today need to read these words and prepare for what is to come. If they believe this chapter of history, they should prepare, be ready for for what will happen to them and the rest of the world. If they would just read the Old Testament, they would see that great things will happen to them in the last days.

Lev 26:18 And if ye will not yet for these things hearken unto me, then I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.
A time= 360 years
360 x 7 times = 2520
The chastisement started with Babylon overtaking them in 604 BC. adding 2520 to that number gives us 1917.
During World War 1, In 1917 General Allenby drove the Turks from the land of Israel and the Balfour Declaration opend the doors to Jews returning to the land. This reminds us of Chirsts words in Luke, of a sprout shooting forth,showing early signs of jewish nation reviving.
Luk 21:29 And he spake to them a parable: Behold the fig tree, and all the trees:
Luk 21:30 when they now shoot forth, ye see it and know of your own selves that the summer is now nigh.
Luk 21:31 Even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh.
In 1948 after Hitler killed 6 million Jews with WWII, the state of Israel is proclaimed.
Then in 1967, Israel fights the 6 day war, expanding its territory.
