The husband could bring his wife on suspicion of adultery. When we think of bride and groom, we think of the ultimate representation. Christ being the groom, would not be brought into question, so there wasn't an option in the law for the wife to bring the husband under the law of jealousy. Only his espoused bride (us) might commit adultery and be brought in.
What would cause him to do this? Suspicion! Why would a husband be suspicious? Lack of desire! Are we desiring God and his word, or are we making our espoused Jealous in that we desire a worldly spouse.
