We often Pray: "Open my heart to understanding"
Prov 2:2 "So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom,
And apply thine heart to understanding;
We have the truth, but we still have to have our heart open to truly understand and believe the truth, and to understand how to apply it to our lives to live the truth. We have to be willing to be molded by God. We have to constantly desire it, as one would desire to find gold or silver, and yet the gem we have is much more precious than gold or silver.
