The same thought and subject continues as in the last chapter concerning the lure of "women". Solomon experienced this principle that if we put ourselves in the right situation we can fall a mighty fall. Adultery is one of those worse sins because it leads to the heartache of so many involved. After all, God said,"thou shalt not commit adultery." It would do us all well to get wisdom and understanding and to pray for strength and faith in all situations. But for man this principle of adultery is to be watched from every side, especially from those that have that weakness.
