Joshua and Caleb

Of all the people who left Egypt, only two entered the Promised Land. Its amazing how almost every part of the story tells of another greater story. Joshua was natural Israelite. Caleb on the other hand was a Kenezite, which was a descendent of Esau, an Edomite. Therefore he was the type of the Gentiles.

So we have the two branches entering the promise land, Jew and Gentile, both however faithful stewards of God, and adopted Jews.
