Num 34:2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
I've thought more than once that it was strange why the Land of Promise seemed to have more than one name, such as the Land of Canaan. Until I looked it up tonight, didnt dawn on me that it was named after one of the sons of Ham who migrated and settled this area.
Here's a question. Why is Simon called a canaanite?
Mat 10:4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
