Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; (John 17:20 KJV)
This verse is so comforting as we know it pertains to gentiles such as us. We are given the same chance / opportunity as the Jews. It is solidified more in Paul's writings.
Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not. (John 18:17 KJV)
When I was younger I wondered how Peter could have done this. Now I can understand how scary this must have been for Peter. Things were pretty serious right at that moment, he could see Christ going thru all these things. I would think "how could Peter have denied Christ like this?" but we can and do deny Christ if we dont tell people about Jesus if we are given the opportunity.
I am not talking about going to the county courthouse and proclaiming the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, I mean in a much easier setting when someone at work mentions something concerning the bible and we keep silent. This is another form of denying Christ that we might not think of. If an opportunity is given us we most certainly should speak up about Christ and what his gospel was, anytime we get the chance to.

Todd recently had to go before a judge for Jury duty last week and had to tell the judge why he didnt believe in judging. I did this last year as well, with all the prospect jury behind me listening. Even this little thing puts you in a difficult situation, but in reality its really a minor thing.
Now Imagine when the outcome of your belief could potentially be jail, or death, or even worse, murder to your family and children. We have it so easy right now. Lets take advantage of the time, the enormous amount of free unmolested time, to honor God, to strengthen our brother's and sisters, and to prepare. It could get bad, before the end.
