11. And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full; 12. Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
We know this happens to us, when we have plenty or even extra we tend to forget God and enjoy what we have amassed, think about what we are going to buy next.
This chapter is a warning to keep ourselves separate from the world, even though we try the world always gets into our thinking, our way of life.
It cost the Israelites their land, and it could cost us our salvation.

Well said. A similar thing happens with Time. When I have a lot of spare time, I tend to get relatively little extra done. When I have a ton of things to do, I tend to organize my time better and get even more things done. I recall thinking, next time I'm on vacation, I'll spend all day studying the truth....
One of the true blessings Yahweh has given us is Time. Some of us more than others. How are we using it?
