Deu 6:13 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.
Mat 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all;
1. Is swearing and an oath the same thing? 2. Was it permissible to swear prior to Christ, but then changed with Christ? Many things did change: (ex eye for an eye => love thy neighbor)

i try to never swear about anything, even try not to be too emphatic about anything, ill usually say "i think its this way" because how do we really know anything? We are told the sky is blue but it is? I dont think II would swear the sky is blue even though im pretty sure it is haha
