Chapter 6:6-9. Our children are a wonderful blessing coming from God. For them to continue to be a blessing, they must fear God and do His commandments. For our children to be that blessing we have to do our part, and that is to teach them about God. This chapter 6 of Deuteronomy gives us that plan and teaches us how to do it. The method is to be teaching at every opportunity day or night. An example is when we are working in the yard, show them what God has given them for their pleasure. How God's spirit made everything in the earth. Show them scriptures that show the timeline of creation. Put placards around the yard and plan what you will be teaching. Tell stories from the Bible about children, etc..
We spend time driving in the car, therefore we need to take advantage of this opportunity to teach a lesson and be smart not to be too obvious what we are doing. Parents have the responsibility to plan the lessons!
