Matt 11:11 He that is least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he. Barnes notes says - the meaning is the apostles had a greater understanding of the gospel of the Kingdom of God, makeing them above John the Baptist.

Matt 11:23 Jesus says that if the works that he did in Capernaum were done in Sodom, it would have remained and not been destroyed. I think that means that those that were gay in Sodom would not have practiced that way of sin anymore and would have followed Jesus.

John’s influence was confined to the nation of Israel; that of the glorified saints will extend to the ends of the earth.
