We in this generation have been so blessed with material things that make modern life so easy, compared to life a few generations ago.
We must be careful and use Israel as an example. God warned the Israelites not to take credit for the things that he has and would would have in the land of promise. God warns them that they will have the tendency to take credit for their prosperity. This will also happen at the end of the Kingdom age. The Bible states that Satan will be loosed and Christ will then destroy those that rebel. We can not take credit for God's work!
