Act 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Act 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: Act 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: Act 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
Lately we have heard Acts 2:20 quoted a lot regarding "blood moons". Jim Phillips gave an interesting argument against the current thinking of blood moons, in that only 1 of the 4 are actually visible from Israel (and in fact are only really visible in the US).
During PENTECOST: Holy Spirit poured out The sun: political powers on earth, (Jewish political system) The moon: religious powers (Jewish religious system)which was a reflection of the sun.
During Later Day: Immortality given to Saints The sun: ? The moon:?
So what would you say are the sun and moon now?

i dont know what they would represent now, but there are some really neat youtube videos concerning the blood moons although they are a little off, one thing that was interesting was the comparison with the feasts or jewish holidays.
I have had some really good discussions, well me mostly listening him talk about the feasts.
I doubt the blood moons have much to do with prophecy but it does make you think
