41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
We know false doctrine existed at this time , you think because they had the holy spirit they didn't have to question the ones being baptized , it would take a while to question 3000 people . I know most knew of the promises and things but the Pharisees and saducees had error didn't they , and taught the people .
