So often I have had people say to me, who are Christians, that they were praying for me. Here are some verses that say, God does not answer prayers of them that know him not.
Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Psa 18:41 They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
Eze 8:18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
Joh 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Mic 3:4 Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.

We had a similar question come up last sunday. Someone works with an homosexual couple who are pregnant with twins. one of the twins was having difficulty (and ended up dying) and one of the partners asked her to pray for twin.
What would you say or do?
