very interesting here about Simon , he used sorcery to make the people believe he was a great man of GOD , when he saw the true great acts of GOD he repented and was baptized , then he figures out the laying on of hands could give him this great power for real , so he offered money for it , Peter really got on to him and rebuked him pretty harshly I would say , thy money perish with thee thy heart is not right with GOD , go repent and pray that the thought thy heart may be forgiven , Simon seems repentive and asked Peter to pray for him as well. he seemed to be very humble when corrected we should all learn from this example , confess your faults one to another and pray one for another.
