We remember very clearly being on the Mediterranean shore and visiting Joppa. It was a beautiful place and triggered a lot of memories about Peter and Jonah. Joppa is a suburb of Tel Aviv. Peter raised Tabitha from the dead. From a roof top Simon the tanner received a call to go to Caesarea and convert Cornelius the Centurion. It is here that Jonah set sail for Tarshish. King Solomon established his own harbor here and received the cedars of Lebanon to build the Temple. The city is now called Joffa.
