Greece was an interesting place but you do not feel the spiritual connection that you do in Israel. Mars Hill is just a large rock at the foot of the mountain that the Parthenon is on. This hill has a flat top which men of that day congregated on. This is the hill that Paul preached about God. The nature of the people in Athens was to worship statues of all kinds of gods. These were just statues and Paul preached the true characteristics of God. There were a few that accepted the faith.
