The apostle Paul warns us to be aware of man in verses 4,8,16,&18. We like those of that day, have to be on guard not to be led away by the deceitfulness of the world. It is individuals that can cause us to be weakened and less attentive to the Truth. It comes little by little and we might be unaware how far we can fall in a short time. People are deceitful and maybe unaware of it. The world can can be so enticing.
