Verse 5 says that we are to strive or work hard to be that good soldier, however we strive by the law to do what is right and lawful. When you think of a soldier, you think of discipline and one knowing the boundaries of a soldier. Also we are to be strong. We can be strong with the help and encouragement of our family and The Lord Jesus Christ.
