We know that "The wages of sin is death," in verse 14.
Our Heavenly Father chose a special way to bring way to bring special people to him. The process was sending his son, made like man not like the angels. So that he could identify and experience what his brethren would go through during their life. For those that chose to follow their Lord, he would give individual help and eventually give forgiveness where they fell short. To accomplish this mission, he experienced life, and lived exactly by the rules of God the Father. By living a perfect life and shedding his blood, death could not hold him. He accomplished what no man could ever do.
