James in the early verses of chapter 5 speaks of rich men. Compared to those days, we are certainly rich. It is how we view ourselves with the thoughts and actions of our life that will determine acceptance at the judgement. Along with our self examination we need loving and caring help of brothers and sisters to balance out our life. We may think we are living on the right track but we can be easily diverted by one wrong decision. We must be able to take useful constructive criticism to route ourselves back into the right path.
