In Chapter 2 verse 4, we read," for if God spared not the angels that sinned, .... " These angels,possibly, refer to those Hebrews that rebelled against God and Moses. They were those that joined with Korah, Dathan, and Abiram including 250 princes of Israel. They were angels in the since that they were assigned ministers to the congregation. They rebelled demanding to be priest not excepting the position God had given them. Because of their attitude God opened the earth, swallowing them, reserving them for judgement.
