One would think that this period of history, the Judges, would have been a glorious time for Israel. It was a time of establishing tribal locations and should have been a time of working with their Heavenly Father. This was not the case. Judges ends with one tribe almost being exterminated. Israel would not be Israel with one tribe missing. So the providing of wives to the remaining 600 Benjamite men end the book and that period that was so eventful, but quite depressing.
