"And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him." (Jude v. 14-15)
It is interesting to think that Enoch (who is only otherwise mentioned in Gen. 4:17-18, Gen. 5:18-24, Heb. 11:5) made a prophecy that was very relevant to his day, Jude's day, and our day. Noah was Enoch's great-grandson, so during Enoch's lifetime the evil described in Genesis 6:5 would've been developing -- "And Elohim saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."
The day we live in is no different. We look for Christ to return, and we hope to be among those saints who will "execute judgement" upon the earth and manifest Yahweh's name.
